Chris Millward






Chris has nearly 15 years’ experience in managing charity legacy fundraising and administration.

His key focus is on helping organisations develop a sustainable pipeline of future legacy income.  He has undertaken legacy audits; provided strategic advice delivered training and legacy toolkits and undertaken interim positions for a wide range of clients including The Royal College of Surgeons; The University of Oxford; Hospice UK and Christian Aid.

He previously worked for Macmillan Cancer Support and Save the Children, and has served the wider legacy sector as a member of Remember a Charity’s Campaign Council, Chair of Will Aid and as CEO at the Institute of Legacy Management.  Chris is author of the Marketing Strategy chapter of the fourth edition of the Directory for Social Change’s Legacy and In Memory fundraising guide.
