Lead Consultant Role with the Alde & Ore Estuary Trust

We are delighted to be working with the Alde & Ore Estuary Trust, to recruit a Lead Consultant, as it seeks to fortify sea defences and protect this beautiful part of the East Anglian coast for decades to come.
Watch this short video, narrated by broadcaster Nick Robinson, to understand why this campaign is so crucial to the community, economy and ecology of that area. https://www.aoetrust.org/about.
Following a recent £12m governmental grant towards the project, we are seeking a Lead Consultant who is able to help mastermind and execute a campaign to raise a significant proportion of the remaining funding target. A prospect pool of major and mid-level donors has for the most part already been assembled, and you will be required to lead and support trustees in their respective cultivation. Experience of or an empathy with environmental fundraising would be advantageous, as would a track record in securing £100k+ gifts. However, we are open to a variety backgrounds, as building a rapport with the client is crucial.
This role, with support from a Philanthropy Company director and wider team, will require a commitment of approximately 6 days per month over at least an 18-month period, commencing in May. You will need to be able to make several visits to East Anglia for trustee and come cultivation meetings, but prospects also live in London and elsewhere, and a project co-ordination can normally be accomplished remotely.
To express an interest or seek further information, please contact Gemma McPhail Gemma@philanthropycompany.com or 07786 412717 by 8th May.
