Challenge

Dogs Trust had a strong high-value fundraising team and clear ambition for growth. The opportunity was to bring greater consistency and confidence to how prospects were cultivated by supporting a more proactive, relationship-led approach in an increasingly competitive environment.

 

Response

We worked closely with the team to design and deliver a tailored workshop focused on strengthening donor cultivation. Created in line with Dogs Trust’s context and priorities, the session combined practical frameworks with interactive discussion, building a shared understanding of how to move prospects from initial engagement through to a confident and well-timed ask.

We explored donor motivations, introduced structured approaches to planning and engagement, and shared a range of practical and creative tools to support more intentional relationship-building.

 

Impact

The team now has a clearer, more consistent approach to cultivating high-value donors, with greater confidence in how to progress relationships over time. This has strengthened foundations for more proactive engagement and a stronger pipeline of high-value opportunities.
