Caroline founded Philanthropy Company in 2002. As CEO, she leads the business and provides oversight of all client work, as well as working directly with a small number of clients, advising board members and senior leaders. In 2017, she was awarded an OBE by the late Queen Elizabeth II for services to charity at Windsor Castle.

Caroline’s expertise spans UK and global fundraising. She is widely recognised as a leading authority on fundraising and philanthropy, frequently speaking at professional events.

Caroline is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), and a member of the Institute of Fundraising. She has a longstanding commitment to leadership and volunteering, and currently serves as an Independent Member of the Comic Relief Fundraising and Engagement Committee and as a member of the Honours Committee for Public Service.
