Consultant

Andrew is an experienced international fundraiser who has held director-level roles within the HE and charity sectors. Through his career assignments, including several roles within the University of Oxford, Andrew has also developed a detailed understanding of how a range of affinity-based organisations manage relationships and services on behalf of their members and supporters, including farmers, tennis clubs, athletes, university alumni and charitable donors. This versatility has been invaluable whilst delivering complex assignments for Philanthropy Company, whether that has been helping sports sector clients to pursue social and environmental change agendas (Sport England, LTA, Canoe Foundation, England Netball, Cycling UK, Boccia England, Goalball UK) or educational institutions and initiatives seeking great impact and diversity (St Edmund Hall Oxford, Northumbria University, University of the Western Cape, MEI, World’s Largest Lesson).

Since 2023 Andrew has been Development Director and Fellow at St Hilda’s College in Oxford. His move into the fundraising sector followed a career in commercial sport and he has maintained a detailed connection with that industry through capital and revenue fundraising assignments with The Lord’s Taverners and more recently as Director of Fundraising at the International Paralympic Committee in Germany (2015-2019), where he worked globally to support the development of Para sport in developing nations.

Andrew can also provide added insight as an active trustee. He is on the board of CoachCore, a youth employment initiative founded by Princes William and Harry, and the Oxfordshire Football Association.
