Challenge

Prevent Breast Cancer is a pioneering charity dedicated to funding innovative research with a bold vision: to prevent breast cancer for future generations. Since 2020, we have been proud to support their mission, particularly their efforts in advancing the National Breast Imaging Academy capital campaign.

Breast cancer remains the most common cancer in the UK, with approximately 56,800 individuals diagnosed annually—a figure that continues to rise. Every person affected depends on the critical expertise of breast imaging specialists for timely diagnosis and effective treatment. Yet, the growing demand has not been matched by an increase in trained specialists, leaving the future of breast cancer services in the UK at significant risk.

In partnership with the Manchester Foundation Trust Charity, the National Breast Imaging Academy represents a bold and forward-thinking solution to this challenge. This cutting-edge facility will help to bridge the gap in breast imaging expertise, revolutionizing breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, and care.

The Academy launched a £3.9 million appeal to turn this vision into a reality.

Response

Our team has provided expert strategic consultancy and hands-on support throughout the campaign. From conducting the initial feasibility study and prospect research to spearheading active fundraising efforts, we have been with the Academy every step of the way. Our work contributed over £1,050,000 towards the campaign target—an achievement we are immensely proud of.

Together, we are transforming the future of breast cancer care, ensuring that lifesaving expertise and innovative research remain at the forefront of the fight against this disease.
