Kate Ainsworth

At Philanthropy Company, Kate works with The Alde & Ore Estuary Trust to raise philanthropic funding to support their project to rebuild the river walls to protect the area from flooding. She has also combined her fundraising and coaching expertise to deliver fundraising training for The Royal Free Charity.

Kate has worked in philanthropy and corporate teams at The Prince’s Trust, Help for Heroes, and The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation. She also helped young people set up businesses at The Prince’s Trust, having worked in a startup herself.

Kate enjoys bringing her experience of working for big charities to smaller charities and the challenge of using smaller amounts of time and resources to make a big difference. Kate is also a certified coach.

Kate started her career in PR in London when the fax machine was still a thing.
