Amy Terry
Consultant
Prior to moving into consultancy, Amy built her career in fundraising, working with charitable, cultural and non profit organisations for 15 years both in the U.K. and internationally, specialising in fundraising strategy and generating income from corporates, trusts and major donors.
Amy has worked for organisations including the RNLI, London Transport Museum and the NSPCC. She also spent 3 years as the Head of Fundraising & Communications for Sound Seekers.
A strategic thinker and problem solver by nature, Amy is able to use her creative and analytic skills to uncover opportunities for a new partnership, expansion or appeal. Having also worked as part of a service delivery team in her early career she always works holistically to maximise an organisation’s overall strengths and long-term growth potential rather than focusing solely on short-term, short-lived income generation. She has extensive experience of attracting new funders to a cause, and is particularly skilled at cultivating relationships with current or previous donors to increase their level of support.
She has a passion for the women’s sector and is a Trustee of the charity Nia. She is also a keen artist, photographer and lover of animals and the outdoors.
