Senior Consultant
Caroline is a senior fundraising and external relations expert, as well as a coach and mentor, bringing over 20 years of strategic leadership to Philanthropy Company’s clients. With extensive experience across the non-profit, higher education, and cultural sectors, Caroline provides strategic guidance on fundraising strategy, campaign management, due diligence and ethics, organisational design, and research funding.
Caroline’s work at Philanthropy Company has included projects for the Royal Academy of Arts, London Mathematical Society, Castle Howard and York Archaeological Trust.
Prior to 2023, Caroline was part of the senior leadership team at the international affairs think tank Chatham House, with a wide-ranging role across income generation. Caroline spent many years at King’s College London, firstly as Director of Development and later Director of External Relations. Her work at King’s included the delivery of the College’s first successful comprehensive campaign. She also spent over a decade at the V&A and British Museums.
Caroline relocated to York but is still a member of the Royal Overseas League, which is her London base. She volunteers for the National Trust and Cats Protection.
