Consultant

Tamsin has led projects for Philanthropy Company clients; Oxford Hospitals Charity, St George’s University of London, British Science Association and Sport England, and supported organisations including Life Arc, York Archaeological Trust, Mary Rose Trust, British Council, Somerset House and the British Library. Tamsin excels at turning complexity and chaos into clear systems and plans, helping Philanthropy Company clients with fundraising strategies, pipeline building, system management, and proposal development.

From 2019 to 2023, Tamsin worked at The HALO Trust, holding both international and UK-based roles. As Ukraine Private Funding Manager, she managed a $30m donor portfolio and led a small team in proposal development and reporting. As Philanthropy Projects Lead, she developed six and seven-figure proposals for donors across HALO’s 26-country portfolio. Earlier roles included demining and medical training in Cambodia, and leading teams delivering donor reporting, database management and community liaison in Laos. Tamsin also held fundraising roles at the University of Oxford, starting her career in the development team for the Bodleian Libraries, and led fundraising for the US-Thai Pratthanadee Foundation in Bangkok.

Outside of work, Tamsin is tackling a dressmaking course, mastering her sewing machine, and enjoys watching travel documentaries while planning her next trip. Having worked in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Ukraine, she’s fascinated by how NGOs impact communities globally, both meaningfully and sometimes otherwise.
