Serious

Serious is Britain’s largest producer of world music and live jazz. It creates and produces a diverse range of concerts, tours and special events, working with artists and partners from the UK and internationally.

The Brief

Serious was keen to set up a foundation to raise funds for its learning and participation programmes, its artist development initiatives (supporting artists at the beginning of their careers) and to enable new collaborations.

Our response

We conducted a full review of Serious’ fundraising capacity. At the strategic level we worked with trustees to help them better understand the impact fundraising would have on a production company as well as their new and active role in encouraging and promoting giving. At an operational level, we helped develop their case for support making sure that it engaged with different audiences from corporate partners through to trusts and individuals.
