Philanthropy Company launches a fundraising hub for churches
Top Tips, Emergency Funders and Essential Checklists Specifically Designed for Churches -Philanthropy Company launches a fundraising hub for church customers with specialist insurer Ecclesiastical + livestream of expert webinar for Churches on 1st July.
Churches have felt the financial impact of the UK-wide lockdown, from loss of income from venue bookings to a fall in weekly giving. On top of this, churches play a vital role in supporting the community and helping those most impacted by COVID-19; by opening food banks, running befriending services for isolated people, or providing digital support to vulnerable households.
Churches can make a big difference.
To support churches in their fundraising, Philanthropy Company have developed resources in collaboration with Ecclesiastical, that cover sources of emergency funding, guidance for writing grant applications and how to involve the local community in fundraising and more. These resources provide tips and guidance to help churches during the current crisis and beyond.
As part of the package, Philanthropy Company are delivering a series of webinars to further support churches and give specific fundraising advice. The first webinar gives a comprehensive overview of fundraising during COVID-19 and beyond, as well as the basic steps and top tips that church can take.
The webinar will stream on 1 July at 3pm and will include a live Q&A with Caroline Underwood OBE, CEO of Philanthropy Company and expert fundraiser.

All of the resources on the fundraising hub have been specially designed to be easily accessible, cost effective and benefit as many churches as possible – and is particularly geared towards meeting fundraising needs during Covid-19.
