Philanthropy Company appoints Senior Fundraiser to team
We are very lucky in the UK to have a number of generous Trusts and Foundations supporting a wide range of causes. At Philanthropy Company we have always been able to help our clients to maximise potential support from Trusts and Foundations and from statutory bodies such as The National Lottery Heritage Fund (formerly HLF), Arts Council, City Council and other local bodies as part of your fundraising strategy.
Demand for funding is high and pressure on statutory funds greater than ever before; many Trusts and Foundations report that they receive hundreds of applications each week.
To support our clients even more with their fundraising we are delighted to announce that Liz Purchase has joined our team as Senior Consultant (Arts and Heritage).
Liz has extensive fundraising and development experience in the arts, heritage and culture sectors, having worked closely with the development and senior management teams of national organisations including English Heritage, Historic England the Royal Academy of Arts, and the National Churches Trust.
Liz has raised significant funds from The National Lottery Heritage Fund (formerly HLF), Arts Council England, and private charitable trusts for high profile, multi-million pound capital and core programme projects.
Her skill in writing applications and cases for support has also helped to secure significant revenue income. Liz has secured many six figure grants, written and managed successful appeals, and increased income from individuals and friends’ groups.
Liz is passionate about working closely with your charity on your fundraising strategy, from crucial early planning stages, to the delivery of outstanding projects, and helping you to secure vital income and continuation funding. Extensive HLF experience means she has an excellent understanding of how to meet outcomes, plan for sustainability and ensure a bid is competitive. Liz is skilled in both internal and external stakeholder management, relationship building and maintaining the momentum of a major bid.
Liz said “The Philanthropy Company is a sector trailblazer with an impressive track record, so I am delighted to join the team of outstanding fundraising professionals. I’m looking forward to supporting cultural sector organisations and charities develop their exciting plans for future growth.”
