Louise Parkin






Louise joined Philanthropy Company in 2019 bringing over 25 years’ experience in fundraising and philanthropy for over 800 clients in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. Louise represents our New Zealand clients in the UK as well as delivering fundraising strategy, advice and hands on fundraising support for clients worldwide.

Louise has a depth of knowledge in prospect research and identification of prospects having begun her fundraising career as a prospect researcher in London and being founder of Saints Information, Asia-Pacific’s largest fundraising research agency. Louise is also an expert in recruitment having established a division of London-based recruitment firm in New Zealand. Her outstanding contribution to the profession saw her recognised as a Fellow of the Fundraising Institute of New Zealand.

More recently Louise was Executive Director of the Nikau Foundation, Wellington’s community foundation, overseeing growth of the Foundation from £2m to £25m. At the same time Louise graduated top of the class from QUT with a Graduate Certificate in Philanthropy and Non-Profit Studies, an MBA equivalent qualification in charity management.  She also holds a BA from the University of Canterbury and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Librarianship and Information Management from Victoria University of Wellington. Louise particularly enjoys assisting generous donors with realising their values through big philanthropy and is proud to be part of the Philanthropy Company’s team.
