Louise Parkin

Louise joined Philanthropy Company in 2019 bringing over 20 years’ experience in fundraising and philanthropy in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. Louise represents our international clients in the UK delivering fundraising strategy, advice and hands on fundraising support.
Louise has a depth of knowledge in prospect research and identification of prospects having begun her fundraising career as a prospect researcher in London and being founder of Saints Information, formerly Asia-Pacific’s largest fundraising research agency. Louise is also an expert in recruitment having established a division of an international recruitment firm in New Zealand. Her outstanding contribution to the profession saw her recognised as a Fellow of the Fundraising Institute of New Zealand.
Before her return to the UK, Louise was Executive Director of the Nikau Foundation, Wellington’s community foundation, overseeing growth of the Foundation from £2m to £25m. At the same time Louise graduated top of the class from QUT with a Graduate Certificate in Philanthropy and Non-Profit Studies, an MBA equivalent qualification in charity management. She also holds a BA from the University of Canterbury and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Librarianship and Information Management from Victoria University of Wellington.
Louise particularly enjoys assisting generous donors with realising their values through big philanthropy and is proud to be part of the Philanthropy Company’s team.
