Kate Gray

Consultant

Kate is a highly experienced and passionate fundraiser with an impressive track record of income generation, successfully creating and implementing strategies, and leading partnership work in the high value areas of corporates, major donors and Trusts and Foundations.

Kate joined Philanthropy Company’s consulting team to lead our work with St Paul’s Cathedral and its school. Prior to this she successfully launched the Building Futures campaign at St Albans School, where she worked for almost 10 years.  The campaign reached its target of £8.5 million to support three capital projects at the School. Kate also raised an additional £3 million for bursaries, which led to a new fundraising focus in this area.

Kate embarked on her fundraising career almost 25 years ago at NSPCC as part of the Full Stop campaign and led the fundraising team within the media and entertainment industries. She subsequently worked as a Fundraising Director for charities including Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice and the Willow Foundation, focused on major donor fundraising and leading and nurturing high performing teams.  She has personally been responsible for achieving a number of 6 and 7 figure gifts from Trusts and Foundations and HNWIs.

Most recently Kate has acted as Joint Head of Corporate Partnerships for the mental health charity Mind and providing interim leadership in donor and alumni engagement in the University sector for RADA.
