Joanna has almost 20 years’ experience of managing successful fundraising and communications events and projects for a range of national and international charities.

Joanna has most recently been working closely with The Captain Tom Foundation and Ecclesiastical, project managing key fundraising pieces and working closely with their teams, advising and supporting them on their changing fundraising priorities through the pandemic.

Her passion is to combine her skills in project management, leadership, budgeting & strategy with her years of experience in managing high profile clients and High Value Donor events, to work alongside a charity in maximising their fundraising potential.

For Save the Children, Joanna led a team of event fundraisers, responsible for delivering a multi-million pound portfolio of fundraising and cultivation events in prestigious venues including the Guildhall, Buckingham Palace and private homes of donors, many of these events included members of the Royal Family. She is experienced in working with influential committees of volunteers; with multiple stakeholders such as sponsors; with Chairs of FTSE 100 companies; politicians, celebrities, media and charity teams. In her role at Save the Children she developed a strategy to maximise events to support major giving targets. Joanna is an excellent project manager with a talent for attention to detail and the experience to brief speakers and guests at the highest levels. Importantly Joanna is a fundraiser who sees the opportunities that events play in supporting income growth.

For Philanthropy Company Joanna has delivered high profile events for clients including The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust at Bank of England and Foundation for Future London with HRH The Princess Royal.
