Ilana Jackman

Ilana is a driven and accomplished fundraiser with in-depth experience in major gifts, corporate partnerships and working with volunteer boards. She has also run participation campaigns, including a very successful legacy campaign, secured grants, run an events fundraising calendar and secured legacy gifts from supporters. Ilana has raised in excess of £20m during her career, from £5k to £2m gifts.

Ilana has worked in small, medium and large organisations, including the NSPCC, Jewish Care and Apps for Good.  At the NSPCC she worked for on the FULL STOP Campaign, one of the biggest capital campaigns in the UK.  This was followed by a promotion to Senior Partnership Manager, Principal Gifts: raising £250,000+ gifts and training/mentoring the UK-wide team of major gift fundraisers to secure gifts at this level.

As a consultant, her clients have included The Outward Bound Trust, Bliss, Kingston University, Stonewall, the Microinsurance Innovation Facility (Geneva), The Nelson Mandela African Institute (Tanzania), City University, Age UK and Lewisham Local Authority. She has equipped and enabled these organisations to raise corporate partnerships and individual gifts worth 100s of thousands of pounds. At Kingston University Ilana designed a legacy campaign that drove up confirmed legators tenfold.

In her work with not for profit organisations, Ilana has supported clients in the following areas:

  • Optimisation & Innovation: identifying new areas where your organisation can raise more funds, focusing on monetising the organisation’s strengths to create sustainable income streams
  • Strategy: establishing a clear route to raise your income target
  • Training: creating a fundraising organisation – working with volunteers, fundraising and senior staff to give them the skills and confidence to inspire people to give to your cause

Ilana is a driven innovator, with a passion for smart strategic fundraising and a track record for implementing her ideas. She brings this focus to all her advice.
