Ailsa brings her experience in place making and regeneration to our clients having spent 15+ years working across the charity, social enterprise, cultural and public sector.
Based in Liverpool but working throughout the UK Ailsa has deep consultancy experience from her own practice and from working with Capacity (a public service consultancy based in Liverpool) Ailsa brings expertise in service design, place-making, business planning, strategic fundraising, social enterprise growth, project management and governance. Her previous experience was as Chief Operating Officer at The Reader, a leading national charity and social enterprise, based in Liverpool City Region. At The Reader she was instrumental in the development and delivery of a £6m capital refurbishment project within a public park as well as all aspects of the effective running of the organisation.
Previously Ailsa held senior positions in local economic development at Liverpool Vision where she witnessed first-hand the amazing, transformational impact that Culture has on local communities. She was involved in a range of high value projects including Liverpool’s award-winning six-month participation in the World EXPO Shanghai 2010, a six-month global event based around the theme of ‘better city, better life’ and the UK’s International Business Festival.
Ailsa’s approach is practical and delivers clear, real-life recommendations and analysis and is able to scope new initiatives as well as ensure the success of existing systems and plans.
