Do you want to use your fundraising skills to make a real impact at one of the UK’s most fascinating historic sites?

This is an exciting opportunity to join the small and talented team at the Charterhouse in London, and to help us move our mission forwards.  The Development Manager is a new role in our growing fundraising office, in our beautiful historic buildings.  You will play an important part in achieving our fundraising goals, preserving our fascinating history, and supporting further opportunities to benefit the local community.  In a friendly, collaborative atmosphere you will work to grow the prospect pipeline, develop our members programme, and steward existing donors.

The Charterhouse is a unique medieval survival on the fringe of the City of London, located between Barbican and Smithfield Market.  The Grade I and II listed buildings attract visitors from all over the world, and our site has been the location of popular TV and film productions, from Downton Abbey to The Crown. We are also still a home and community for older people, providing care and accommodation, a continuation of the historic almshouse founded here in 1611.

Based at Charterhouse Square, London EC1M 6AN.  Salary £35,000 – £37,000 full-time.

Closing date 2nd October.
