Foundation for FutureLondon

Foundation for FutureLondon was created to support East Bank the new cultural and education quarter on the Olympic Park, supported by the London Legacy Development Corporation and the GLA, and bringing together institutions including Sadler’s Wells, Victoria and Albert Museum, University College London and the Smithsonian Institute.

The Brief

We were asked to undertake a detailed feasibility study interviewing major philanthropists and arts funders to seek their input to planning a significant philanthropic campaign.  As a result of the work undertaken by Caroline Underwood and John Nickson a new  charity was formed, results of the study were included in a business plan that supported the commitment of £141m from Treasury to the project.

Our Response

We worked with a high profile board and City Hall to form the new Foundation, to engage the major institutions and local communities, to develop high level fundraising including events with the charity’s Patron, The Princess Royal.
